The IR-05 Flat Roof Ballast System is the fastest, strongest, and most cost effective 5 degree ballast system on the market. Each base system can be assembled in less than 30 seconds, and modules can be mounted in under a minute, for a total install time of 5 minutes per module! We offer multiple options from 5-30 degrees and all are capable of racking solar modules of up to 700 Watts with no roof penetration. Our IR-05 and IR-10 are designed to clamp around a standard cinder block and the integrated handle allows one person to carry and place multiple base systems with weight without the fatigue caused by other ballasted basket type systems.

The IR-F1 Rail-Less Solar Module Flange Clamp Bonding Brackets work to clamp the solar modules to the IR-05 bracket as well as provide bonding for the solar module rows. The spring steal sharp barbs will penetrate into the anodized aluminum flange of the solar module frame when the solar modules are locked into place with the integrated bend tabs. The weight of the solar module pushing onto the barbs also contributes to the pressure needed to penetrate the anodized aluminum frame.
For bonding between rows of modules, we offer 8" and 12" IR-B1 Bonding Jumpers that are UL 2703 recognized. The bonding jumpers have small internal bonding barbs and they clamp to the bottom inner flange of the solar modules to provide bonding from row to row.

This system is capable of racking solar modules of up to 700 Watts, and each bracket is equipped with a micro-inverter/solar optimizer mounting point.
The IntegraRack Ballast Systems take advantage of our own IR-F1 Rail-Less Module Flange Clamp Bonding Brackets. The IR-F1 uses stainless steel spring barbs that dig into the module flange to keep it from sliding while also bonding modules together. Three of these can be mounted to the IR-05 Bracket, one of which will be bolted in with the tube handle itself. Two IR-05 Brackets and six IR-F1 Brackets will be needed per module in your system after the starter row.
The Bend Tab Clamps incorporated into the top of our brackets are designed to be used with our revolutionary rail-less module clamping system (IR-F1). When quickly folded over with a flathead screwdriver, it clamps the solar module frame directly to the IR-F1 Rail-Less Module Flange Clamp Bonding Bracket, bonding it and locking the solar module firmly in place.

Yes. The IR-05 can also be mounted directly to the roof without penetration using nothing but our high-strength tested polyurethane adhesive for over 200lbs of uplift. Additionally each IR-05 can be deck mounted using our IR Deck Mounting Bolts. The tube handle will provide structural support for the bracket even without the cinder block.
Yes. Each IR-05 can be fully assembled in under 30 seconds and with the integrated tube handle, multiple IR-05 Brackets can be carried and placed along the roof in just one trip making setup faster than ever. Solar modules can be mounted in place in just 1 minute each once using our quick fold bend tabs.
(2) IR-05 Brackets will need to be attached to the front of each solar module and (2) extra will be needed to end each row of solar modules (Example: 10 modules in a row would require 22 Brackets).
The IR-05 is capable of racking any sized module. Solar module manufacturers require that module mounting points are placed 15%-20% in from the ends of the module. Most ballasted systems are designed to mount in between rows of modules, which greatly reduces the size of modules than can be mounted.
