IntegraRack® has engineered solutions for all types of solar module mounting substrates and ground type surfaces. We specialize in Counterweight frames, and ground screw solar rack frames, but our system is 100% modular so it can be used for cast in place poles, post pounded poles, counterweights, or earth auger screws, all with the same pole up rack mounting system. You can simply choose your mounting base and install our ground mount frame directly on top of it. This reduces inventory in your warehouse as multiple bases can be used with the same rack frame main component system.
This product conforms to UL 2703 Mechanical and Bonding requirements.
Our IR-G Series Ground Mount Systems can be fully assembled in as little as 30 minutes or less with our Counterweight Base Frame or two cast in place poles. With no need to pour concrete, the Counterweight Base Frame provides three easy installation options that can be as fast as 30 minutes per frame.
The IR-G Series Ground Mount System can be used on almost any terrain with its various mounting options. This solar array can be installed with two cast-in-place poles or with our Counterweight Base Frame, which offers three mounting options and no pouring of concrete required. The Counterweight Base Frame is capable of being held down with our IR EarthBallast™ System or IR AnchorSpike™ System for extremely fast and strong mounting. The Counterweight Base Frame can also be held down with a concrete barrier or water tote tank for temporary or permanent mounting.
Using our Adjustable Sun Angle System, your array can be set to 0°, 15°, 30°, or 45° in either direction and quickly locked into place with the optional Fast Locking Clamp Handle. This easy system allows you to change the angle based on the seasonal position of the sun to maximize power output. With the angle adjustment and high clearance, this system can provide maximum annual energy production, while being excellent for snow shedding.
The IR-G Series Ground Mounts have been extensively engineered and outdoor lab tested with simulated real world wind load conditions. With a structure made from aircraft grade 6061 T6 tubular aluminum and stainless steel, it is capable of withstanding wind loads of up to 150mph (See online datasheets for more detailed specs). The easy angle adjustment
Each IR-G Series can be mounted using water tote tanks for permanent mounting of solar modules (See Datasheets for detailed ballast weight requirements).
Our IR EarthBallast™ Kit provides enough materials to install one IR-G Series Frame with this mounting option, and comes with a 7.5' x 14' roll of strong geotextile material generally used for earth filling and rock wall retention systems, and one caulk gun size tube of high-strength 5 minute epoxy with two mixing nozzles to adhere the material to the base frame. The geotextile material is rolled over the wet epoxy and stretched over the base frame to form a large tight surface area for the earth mound to be placed on. Each frame requires a mound of dirt, crushed rock, or road base that is approximately 24 inches tall or 4,800 pounds of ballast fill material per section. A skid-steer loader, tractor, or shovel can be used to place the fill material.
Stakes not required, but recommended
Our IR AnchorSpike™ Kit provides enough materials to install one IR-G Series Frame with this mounting option, and comes with our specially designed 30 inch barbed aluminum spikes and a super strong two part epoxy. The IR AnchorSpikes have a hollow structure with open barbs that allow the epoxy to flow deep into the soil and create a solid anchor rated for up to 1,000 pounds of uplift per spike. Once in place, each BallastRack™ Base Frame is designed to clamp onto two AnchorSpikes when the carriage bolts at the ends are tightened, which allows for fast and easy leveling of the system. IR-AnchorSpike must be tested in soil at installation site to ensure it can withstand a minimum of 800 pounds of uplift.
Our IR Concrete Anchor Bolt Mounting Kit provides four strong concrete anchor bolts and a concrete drill bit. Each IR-30 Frame can be direct bolted to pre-cast concrete slabs/footings or most existing concrete surfaces, such as a patio (site specific engineering required), for the strongest possible wind resistance.
Each IR-G Series Rack Frame can be bolted to two 3.5 inch cast-in-place base poles and can then be adjusted along these poles for easy leveling.
